Nathan Lee Chasing His Horse (born April 28, 1976) is an American actor. He is a member of the Rosebud Lakota Sioux Nation, the son of Chief Joseph Chasing Horse and Winifred Chasing Horse.
Chasing His Horse was cast to play the part of Smiles A Lot (Lakota: Iȟá s’a) in Kevin Costner's movie Dances with Wolves. He starred in three TNT telefilms with First Nations actor Eric Schweig: The Broken Chain, Into the West and Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee.
In addition to his film career, Nathan Chasing Horse is a recognized medicine man, raised and living to this date in the traditional way of the Lakota.
